Spruce AU Story Idea

Okay, do you remember in my Spruce Bruce fanart post when I mentioned about what I was originally going to do a Spruce AU version of him as a Troll Tok dancer and is literally into social media?

 

 

Well, to you guys this...it literally inspired me and now I have a new story idea.

I know, I know. If you know me already, I'm the type where I have an idea and then I would put aside a project and never go back into it until months later. But, don't worry, I'm still working on Kid at Heart Series, which it's taking a while to work on. Like it's a series, which will take some time.

 

Plus, I want to share this idea with you guys since I love sharing my content with you all, and I thought maybe this would be a fun AU to explore and who knows, I think it would be something you guys might enjoy. 

 

So let's get into what this new story idea is about.

 

What Inspired Me:

Before we get into the concept of this AU, I want to say that this AU was inspired by someone named Makutoandtrolls from Instagram and Tik Tok (if you have it because I don't). Anyways, his comic story Trolls College AU is so amazing and I got inspired by the comic and story concept of it.

 

Now to mention that this AU it's going to be completely different for sure. It's mostly going to be about Spruce. The rest of the brothers will be mentioned and seen, but Spruce is the main one since it will be about this part of his life.

 

I also got inspired by this song, which it's literally one of his favorite songs. 

 

AU Idea Concept:

For this AU, it's pretty much an alternative universe (AU) story about Spruce who is a 19-year-old famous Troll Tok dancer and is popular on Trollsagram. He loves dancing and dreams of doing a major of it at his dream college which it’s on an island, similar to Vacay Island. He wants to enjoy life there, go to parties, and live the best life there.

 

But before this, I was thinking that he would go on a mini camping trip with his brothers before he leaves to college, which he wants to challenge himself to do. It's going to be funny the way they are going to watch Spruce react to camping. I can imagine him complaining here and there and moments where he would be not knowing how to do certain things.

 

Now, this what I thought of so far. Still trying to figure out what majors he'll be into. Perhaps dance and cooking? Like a culinary arts degree or something. (which somehow connects with him having a restaurant in the future) though dancing is his thing.

 

Spruce AU Character:

I don't know about you, but I'm starting to like this idea of Spruce being like Social Media star and a college student. I still have to figure out part of his personality, For sure he can be such a drama king and has his famous "pouty" face, but he is also funny and charming as usual. The life of the party type of guy, wanting to have more fun, enjoying college life.

 

He is also a talented dancer where he uses social media like Troll Tok to show off his dance moves, including some moves that he makes up. He is also a bit indecisive to which he always asking his followers to make certain decisions for him, especially when it comes to doing fun challenges. Did I also mention that he is also a Beyonce and Swiftie fan? He finds them inspiring and does a lot of dance practice, which he is pretty much self-taught. I was also thinking that his side job will be babysitting, which I thought would be a cute idea too.

 

But here's a problem: What would he look like? Since I do have my Kid at Heart AU, I don't want this Spruce AU to be similar to the Kid at Heart Spruce AU. I thought it would be fun to have his hair be tied in a ponytail or something. I don't know yet, but for sure he will definitely have the abs. But the hair though is going to be such a challenge to do. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure it out by then.

 

I Figured it Out 😅

Yes, I managed to draw a sketch of him last night and now am currently working on the last details of Spruce. Now the hair is something I'm debating about a bit. Is it too much? Or is it fine? I think I'm going to keep his hair like that. What do you think? 

 

 

So this is going to be AU story where social media star Spruce is going to do some unexpected challenge of spending the weekend camping. I'm excited to explore this AU and who knows what kind of moments I will come up with.
